Calling all gluttons for good grub and great gags! Join comedians Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh and wine expert Jordy Veltheer as they guide you through four wines, at least four jokes, and for the first time ever, a perfectly paired three-course menu.

Fresh from an Off-Broadway run at New York CIty’s SoHo Playhouse, an extended, sellout season at the Edinburgh Fringe, and a smash-hit month in Toronto, this masterclass in mischief returns home to Melbourne for the first time in a year. And now, with the addition of food, the stakes (and maybe even the steaks?) have been raised.

Everyone from worldly bottle-strokers to clueless chardonnay chuggers will find something to make their glass half full and their plate licked clean, as all the wine industry’s most hard-hitting questions are answered:

How far should I extend my pinky when sipping? What the hell is a tannin? And who’s parked in the clearway out front, you’re about to be towed?

About the artists:

As seen performing at Grapes of Mirth's two-day festival Comedy in the Vines and on Wine For The People’s Comedians In Bars Getting Blind, Sweeney Preston and and Ethan Cavanagh are two of Melbourne’s fastest-rising and extravagantly overdressed comedians.

Between them, they have performed internationally in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Japan, Indonesia, South Africa and New Zealand and all corners of Australia, including shows at six consecutive Melbourne International Comedy Festivals.
