Location

Gippsland Jersey Dairy Farm

Jindivick

Gippsland Jersey loves opening its farms to the public. This Festival, they're opening co-founder Steve Ronalds' family farm in Jindivick, welcoming families in for a big ol' hootenanny in the hay shed.

You'll arrive under the glow of the late-afternoon sun, walking past the dairy and the baby calves before stepping foot inside a hay shed gussied up for a Festival bush dance like no other; festoon lights, hay bales and a live band all included.

There'll be local baked spuds tricked out with Gippsland Jersey butter, crème fraîche and local cheese. The local butcher is coming to cook some slow-cooked meat served with an array of local preserves and salads grown by local farmers. A milkshake caravan will be pumping out your favourite shakes, and there'll be plenty of grown-up drinks from some of the region's best-loved producers. It's going to be one heck of a hoe-down.
