Experience the beauty of Sichuan culture, where flavours flourish and traditions thrive. A six-course menu will feature the likes of barbecued and grilled meats, dan dan noodles and soy-glazed duck. The evening will also include two performances: kung fu tea, a tradition where tea masters perform acrobatic moves while precision-pouring tea, and a face-changing performance, an opera act where performers change masks in the blink of an eye, symbolising the mystery and transformation inherent in Sichuan culture.
Chef David’s space will be adorned for the event with statues and motifs inspired by the Sanxingdui archaeological site, an ancient civilization symbolizing Sichuan’s "Land of Abundance". These decorations will transport guests to the heart of Chengdu, creating an atmosphere that blends ancient traditions with modern culinary innovation. The Sanxingdui statues will bridge the gap between heritage and contemporary dining, enhancing the cultural depth of the presentation.
