Melbourne Quarter

Docklands, 3008
In a coup for cardamom bun fans, Richard Hart brings his wildly popular Copenhagen bakery Hart Bageri to Australia for the first time, popping up for the week at Melbourne Quarter from Monday 24 to Friday 28 March.
We're talking the Danish morning buns, cheesecakes, spandauer, Hart's famed city loaf, and (in a nod to Richard's new Green Rhino brand in Mexico) conchas and pan de muerto. And, of course, those cardamom buns.
He'll also be selling copies of his incredible new book from Hardie Grant, Richard Hart Bread, a work that Nancy Silverton, no slouch in the bread department herself, describes as "in a league of its own".
She calls Richard "one of the world's great bakers". Noma's Rene Redzepi calls him The Bread Whisperer. Yotam Ottolenghi says "we're all safe in Hart's hands". And we say you're in for a treat like no other at Melbourne Quarter this Festival.
