The Collingwood diner you know and love now serves supper.

JollyGood by day, JollyGreat by night. Collingwood’s home of French dip sandwiches and patent leather accents is daytime-only no longer. Hulking pork cotolette and baked rigatoni now feature front and centre on a recently launched supper menu that runs deep into the night, and if you add that to JG’s very tidy Thursday steak night, replete with bottomless fries and salad, and you have everything the body needs. Here’s what to order when you’re next in, according to boss man Raphael Exton Pery.

How about a drink?
It depends on what you’re in the mood for and when you’re dining. For breakfast, I’d recommend our batch brew coffee, a milkshake, or a Bloody Mary.

For lunch and supper, maybe a glass of JollyGood pale ale, which is brewed by The Mill Brewery, or a Dr Pepper Long Island Iced Tea.

Got anything light and fresh?
Try our prawn cocktail or wedge salad – they’re perfect with a Martini.

What if I like tasty food but don’t eat animals?
We have great vegan and vegetarian options, like our vegan or vegetarian cheeseburger, baked rigatoni, and the cheese salad sandwich.

Is there a dish on your menu that captures the JollyGood vibe?
Our smash patty cheeseburger and JollyGood burger are always popular. Our beef patties are custom-made by Troy Wheeler and the team at Meatsmith, and we use only the best ingredients.

Let’s go big. Let’s go crazy. What have you got for us?
To begin, order a prawn cocktail paired with a glass of Poderi Cellario orange wine.

For the main course, order steak frites with béarnaise sauce, chips, and a mini wedge salad, and a bottle of Stéphane Aviron gamay.

And to close?
Round out the meal with a slice of key lime pie and a Caffè Corretto Martini.
